INEC To Cancel Result Over Ballot Box Snatching In Kwara

The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) is set to cancel results over ballot snatching in Kwara State on Saturday.

The INEC Resident Electoral Commissioner (REC) in Kwara, Attahiru Madami, disclosed this to reporters on Sunday.

Madami said the result of unit 10, Tsaragi polling unit in Edu local government of Kwara State would be cancelled.

The REC while speaking on Sunday said the cancellation was in line with the rules guiding the conduct of the elections.

According to him, out of 2,887 polling units in Kwara, only one polling unit had its ballot boxes snatched.
