There have been reports of the late arrival of election materials and officials of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) in many wards in Kwara State.

Naija News gathered that the affected constituencies include that of the Kwara Governor, Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq located in Adewole Idi-Igba, in the Ilorin West local government area of the state.

As of 10:15 am, neither INEC officials nor voting materials were yet to arrive at the seven wards of the Alanamu constituency, namely, Ubandawaki, Ajikobi, Oloje, Ogidi, Oju Ekun/Sarumi, and Adewole wards.

Also residents of the state told our correspondent that as at 10.45am, no election material or INEC official had arrived at Ubandawaki Ward in Ilorin West LG. The same thing is happening at polling unit 048 at Umar Audi Road Junction, close to Fate Roundabout.

Voters have however been at the polling units since 8am.
