Wike Gets Support Of Northeast Elders To Restore Abuja Master Plan

The Rivers State Governor, Nyesom Wike has tasked the people of the state with outfits to wear on Saturday, February 25, during the election.

Naija News reports that Wike made this known during a recent campaign in the state and also urged the people on the need to guard their votes.

Wike warned that nobody should wear a skirt or dress but everyone, including men, women, and youths should wear jeans.

In the online snippet, the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) chieftain added that residents should guard their votes until the election result is announced.

Wike Blasts Atiku, Says No Votes For Him

Meanwhile, Wike has announced that the people of Rivers State will not be supporting the presidential ambition of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Atiku Abubakar.

Wike stated this at the Ogbakiri junction in Emohua Local Government Area, where he kicked off the reconstruction and dualization of Emohua Road to Abalama/Tema Junction.

The governor asserted that Atiku has insulted the people of Rivers for tagging the state as unsafe and does not deserve a single vote from the oil-rich state.

He said, “You are addressing Rivers people in Abuja, is that not an insult?

“You cannot come to Rivers State and talk to us. You say Rivers State is not safe, but you want their vote.

“No right thinking Rivers will take that insult.”
