BREAKING: Peter Obi Begins Press Conference On Presidential Election

The presidential candidate of the Labour Party (LP) Peter Obi, has tendered his prayer requests to the gathering of renowned men of God at the 17th Biennial Conference of the Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria (PFN).

According to him, his prayer request as the nation goes to the polls in a few days is for God Almighty to ensure that Nigeria elects somebody with character and competence, who will respect religious rights.

The Labour Party flag bearer also requested the church of God to as well pray for the emergence of a president that will use public funds for the public good.

Naija News understands that Obi made his prayer request during the 17th Biennial Conference of the PFN in Yenagoa, Bayelsa State capital.

He said if not for the prayer of the Church, Nigeria won’t even be where it is today because the nation has suffered what others haven’t and it’s still in one piece.

Obi submitted that “I want to ask for your prayers for Nigeria as we gather here; I will ask for prayer points.

“My prayer points are as we go for election, may God Almighty ensure that Nigeria elects somebody with character, somebody who is competent, somebody who will respect our religious rights.

“May God continue to touch politicians so that we use public money for the public good.

“I do not think without prayers Nigeria will be where it is today, Nigeria has gone through what no country has ever gone through and is still standing, and only your prayers can save us.

“Please do remember your country in your prayers.”

This platform gathered that in attendance at the event were renowned clergymen like the National President of PFN, Bishop Francis Wale-Oke, Pastor Enoch Adeboye and Bishop David Oyedepo, Pastor David Ibiyeomie, Bishop Mike Okonkwo, Rev. (Dr) Felix Omobude.
