The Labour Party and its presidential candidate, Peter Obi stormed Akure the Ondo State capital on Saturday for a campaign rally.

Naija News understands the rally was attended by the party’s Vice Presidential candidate, Yusuf Datti Baba-Ahmed as well as other party chieftains.

Apart from the rally, Obi and his running mate also held a town hall meeting with students and youths in Ondo state.

Meanwhile, after the rally, Peter Obi took to his Twitter handle to appreciate the people of Ondo State for their massive support.

Atiku Commits Blunder In Kogi

The presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Atiku Abubakar on Saturday suffered a gaffe during his campaign in Kogi State.

Atiku and a host of PDP stalwarts had stormed the Kogi Confluence Stadium to woo the people and get their support for the February 25 presidential election.

However, while addressing the crowd of supporters who had thronged the stadium in Kogi, Atiku mistakenly said Nigerians should vote for the All Progressives Congress (APC), then quickly corrected himself.
