'Atiku's Quest For Presidency Will Soon End' - Fani-Kayode Reacts To Tinubu, G5 Govs Alliance

Former Minister of Aviation, Femi Fani-Kayode, has claimed the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar, is either sick, irresponsible, or both.

Naija News reports that Fani-Kayode made this known in a post shared on Twitter on Monday, January 9, 2023.

This is amidst the reports that the PDP flagbearer is sick and has been flown to London, the United Kingdom, for medical treatment.

SaharaReporters quoted a source as saying that the Wazirin Adamawa was flown from Dubai, United Arab Emirates to the UK last weekend amid presidential campaign rally schedules.

However, a contrary submission was made by the spokesperson of the PDP presidential campaign council, Senator Dino Melaye.

According to the former lawmaker, Atiku Abubakar is hale and hearty and was invited by the British Government, urging Nigerians to disregard contrary reports making the rounds.

Fani-Kayode Speaks On Atiku’s Return

But Fani-Kayode insists that Atiku left the country before 2022 Christmas and will not be back till January 11, 2023.

He wrote on Twitter: “Atiku wants to be our President yet he left Nigeria BEFORE last Christmas & won’t be back till Jan. 11th! All this tomfoolery during a pres. campaign & 6 weeks before elections? Is he serious at all? He is either very SICK or IRRESPONSIBLE or BOTH. I pity his gullible supporters.”
