2023: Tinubu Launches Presidential Campaign Offices, Vehicles In Minna

The former governor of Ekiti State, Kayode Fayemi has declared that Nigeria has a lot to gain if the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) is retained in power under the watch of its flag bearer, Bola Tinubu in 2023.

According to him, he was sure Ekiti State and indeed the country had a lot to gain if the APC retained the presidency with Tinubu at the helm.

Naija News gathered that Fayemi, who is currently a special adviser on foreign affairs to Tinubu submitted that he was optimistic that if APC is retained in power and also wins all the state and National Assembly seats, more development would be witnessed in Ekiti.

The former Ekiti governor was reported to have said this on Tuesday at the APC leaders’ and stakeholders’ annual Christmas get-together, which he hosted at his Isan-Ekiti country home.

Fayemi remarked that Tinubu is a highly resourceful political leader and strategist with the experience, exposure and capacity to lead the country successfully.

While appealing for a massive mobilization of support for APC candidates, he noted that “I, therefore, canvass for massive votes for all the APC candidates for the state and national assembly seats, and as well ensure that the APC presidential candidate, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, emerges as the next President of the country.”

On his own part, Naija News learnt that the incumbent state governor, Biodun Oyebanji, who was also present at the occasion opined that Tinubu’s election as the next president of the country is non-negotiable.

Oyebanji boasted about how the APC has the best candidates in all the elective positions, noting that the party is optimistic Nigerians would vote for their candidates at the 2023 general election.

The Ekiti State governor pledged that Tinubu if elected as the next president, the people would benefit from more dividends of democracy.

He added that “We are prepared as a party and we have the best candidates and we are just waiting for the coronation come February.

“We are optimistic that Nigerians will vote for us massively. We shall also mobilise massively for our candidates.”
