Max Air CEO, Bishir Mangal Is Dead

Max Air, Vice Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, Bishir Barau Mangal is dead.

The development was confirmed by the younger brother of the business mogul and Chairman of Max Air, Dahiru Bara’u Mangal.

According to Mangal, Bishir died in the early hours of Friday, in Abuja after a brief illness.

A family source that spoke with Daily Trust on Friday disclosed that the funeral prayer for the deceased would take place in Katsina by 5.00 pm today.

The media consultant to the airline in a statement also confirmed that Bashir died on Friday.

The statement reads, “Inna lillahi wa inna Ilaihi rajiun, this is to announce the death of our beloved brother Alhaji Bashir Barau Mangal Vice Chairman/ CEO Max Air in the early hours of today Friday 23rd December 2022. May Allah grant him Jannatul Firdaus.”
