NURTW Writes MC Oluomo Months After His Suspension

A stern warning has gone out to the members of the Lagos State Parks and Garages Management to avoid any form of electoral violence as the nation heads to the polls in less than two months.

Naija News gathered that the warning came from the Chairman of the Lagos State Parks and Garages Management, Musiliu Akinsanya, popularly called MC Oluomo.

MC Oluomo, in a statement signed both by his media team and his spokesman, Jimoh Buhari, on Wednesday, cautioned members of his group and Nigerians against electoral violence before, during and after the election.

According to him, patriotic individuals must work tirelessly for a better Nigeria through the democratic process and not through violence.

The Lagos parks chairman said he believed in electing leaders by the ballot and not by violence.

While canvassing votes for the presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Bola Tinubu, he said he was convinced that Tinubu was the best candidate to lead the country next.

MC Oluomo at the inauguration of the ‘Connecting Grassroots Initiative’ in Lagos, noted that the initiative was done with 25 branded buses to aid the movements and campaign processes of the actors and actresses.

He appealed to Nollywood actors and actresses to mobilise support for Tinubu and the APC governorship candidate in Lagos State, Babajide Sanwo-Olu.

He noted that “Nigeria is at a point where we need quality leadership and all patriotic individuals must work tirelessly for a better Nigeria through our democratic process and not through violence. Leadership change must be done through the ballot for it to be effective.

“We, at the Lagos State Parks and Garages Management, are convinced that Nigeria needs Asiwaju Bola Tinubu and Lagos needs Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu at this time.”
