I’m Not A Saint, Equally Not A Thief - Peter Obi

The Labour Party (LP) Presidential candidate, Peter Obi on Tuesday stormed Kogi State to solicit the support of voters ahead of the 2023 presidential election.

Naija News had earlier reported that the LP presidential rally was held at the Confluence Stadium in Lokoja, Kogi state.

The former Governor of Anambra State while addressing the electorate in Kogi State charged them to collect money from people trying to induce them, but they should vote against them.

He further stated that the electorate should tell such politicians that they are tired of being in the wilderness.

Obi said, “If they bring money, collect their money but vote against them at the polls. Tell them we want to follow those who know the road. Tell them that you are tired of being in the wilderness.”

The presidential candidate on Tuesday also vowed to revive the moribund Ajaokuta Steel Company to give strong backing to the economy.

Obi said he would liaise with professionals on what to do with the Ajaokuta steel company.

He said, “The steel industry is very important to the development of the economy. Therefore, we will liaise with professionals and experts who know what to do with the Ajaokuta steel company immediately after we are sworn in.”
