The presidential candidate of the ruling All Progressive Congress, APC, Bola Tinubu has celebrated the Governor of Rivers State, Nyesom Wike on his 55th birthday anniversary.

Naija News reports that Wike celebrated his 55th birthday today (Tuesday) and received a gigantic cake for his special day.

Felicitating the special day with the Rivers Governor, Tinubu via the micro-blogging platform, Twitter congratulated the governor on his new age.

The APC flag bearer also prayed that Wike continues to impact the lives of the people of Rivers State and Nigeria.

Sharing Wike’s photo, the former Lagos Governor wrote: “Warm congratulations to Governor Wike @GovWike on turning 55.  My prayer for Mr. Project is that God Almighty grant him robust health, imbue him with the energy, strength, and give him the grace of long life to continue to impact the lives of the people of Rivers State and Nigeria as profoundly as he has been doing.  God bless Governor Nyesom Wike.”

Wike Gives Condition To Support PDP Meanwhile, Wike has insisted that he has no personal issues with the presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Atiku Abubakar.

The Governor who made the fresh declaration on Tuesday added that he is only fighting for the interest of his people in Rivers State, South-south, and the entire southern region.

The declaration comes a few days after Atiku disclosed that he has visited Wike personally five times and he is waiting for the Rivers Governor on how to resolve the PDP crisis. Wike insisted that the only condition that will make him support the PDP candidate in the 2023 presidential election is if Iyorchia Ayu steps down as the party’s chairman and is replaced by a southerner.
