I Only Intended To Play With Her – 75-Year-Old Man Who Raped And Impregnated13-Year-Old Girl

Sunday Muoghalu, 75 who resides at Agu Oye Umudioka Awka has confessed to being responsible for putting a 13-year-old girl in the family way.

Sunday was arrested by the Nigeria Police Force with the help of the commissioner for women and social welfare, Ify Obinabo.

Recall, over the weekend, a video of a 13-year-old girl identified as Esther Victor who was seen at St. Benedict’s maternity hospital in Adazi nnukwu, Anambra state narrated how her madam’s husband impregnated her and abandoned her with her baby.

She revealed her parents’ lives in the village and that she was living with her madam when she got impregnated.

The video went viral on the internet which prompted a swift response from the women and social welfare body.

Speaking about the incident, the women and social welfare commissioner in a short statement on Facebook on Monday disclosed that Sunday during interrogation admitted that he impregnated her.

According to Ify, Sunday had claimed he only wanted to play with the young girl and never intended to impregnate her.

She assured that the young mother is currently in a safe place as the suspect is set to be arraigned in court for prosecution.
