Cameroon goalkeeper, Andre Onana, has been dropped from the World Cup squad for ‘disciplinary’ grounds.

The specific reason for Onana’s removal is unknown, although it is believed to have followed a dispute with manager Rigobert Song over the team’s tactics, according to Daily Mail.

However, Devis Epassy, a goalkeeper who has played only five times for Saudi Arabia’s Abha in club football, will take his spot.

In order for Cameroon to have any chance of moving on to the knockout round with a loss, Switzerland would have to defeat Brazil.

Despite efforts to mediate peace talks by Cameroon legend and head of the Cameroon Football Federation, Samuel Eto’o, it is reported that Onana views his connection with the Cameroonian squad as “irreversible.”

However, further reports claim that there were conflicts between the keeper and the other players due to “discrepancies in the game model.”
