The PUNCH: The Presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress, Bola Tinubu, on Wednesday said those criticising him over his choice of Kashim Shettima as his running mate in the 2023 polls had approached him for the position. He said most of them were close to him, adding that they had indicated interest to become his running mate, an overture he claimed he bluntly turned down.


The Guardian: With less than 100 days to the 2023 general elections, claims of double registration and underage voters have trailed the preliminary voter register published by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), despite repeated assurances by the Commission and President Muhammadu Buhari to deliver free, fair and credible polls.


The Nation: All Progressives Congress (APC) presidential candidate, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, yesterday assured the leadership of the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN) that he will not run his administration on the basis of religion, if elected. Tinubu, who met with the CAN leadership in Abuja, recalled his administration did not discriminate against anyone, either based on tribe, religion or gender when he was Lagos State governor.


Daily Trust: The Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN) has set agenda for the 18 candidates contesting the February 25, 2023, presidential election. The religious body began an interactive session with all the presidential candidates on Tuesday. The Presidential Candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, was the guest of the association on Wednesday.
