Despite his brilliant season with Leicester, Maddison was first worried he may miss out on a flight to Qatar, but Southgate has compensated for his performance with his selections.

Manchester United star, Marcus Rashford, has been reawakened by new manager Erik ten Hag, which has led to his comeback to the England team.
