Funny Loan Offer Received By Manchester City For Haaland

Manchester City manager, Pep Guardiola, has revealed that he’s unsure about Erling Haaland’s fitness ahead of their clash against Chelsea.

Recall that the Norwegian forward picked up a knock against his former side, Borussia Dortmund, last month, which led to the striker missing two matches to recover from the injury.

Naija News previously reported that the goal machine returned against Fulham to fire his side to victory after a frustrating afternoon at the Etihad Stadium.

Guardiola assured that Haaland was regaining his form after a brief layoff before Wednesday’s clash against Chelsea.

The Spaniard also added that Haaland may still go with Norway for their friendly against Ireland and Finland next week.

Guardiola said they would learn more on Tuesday afternoon when asked whether Haaland might play on Wednesday.

“He’s not perfect still. We’ll see tomorrow. Important is the bone is not broken,” he said.

“Just ligament damage a little bit. Not perfect right now. A week, ten days, [we will] see what happens. If he feels good, he plays [for] Norway, it is so important for the players.”

The Catalan also seem to have little patience when asked if Man City will sign a player to bolster their title challenge after the Winter window, “We’re not going to sign anyone in January. We have the squad.” he said.
