Haaland's Goal Gave City A Stoppage Time Winner Against Fulham

Manchester City forward, Erling Haaland, gave 10-man Citizens a 2-1 victory at the Etihad Stadium on Saturday in their Premier League encounter.

The Norwegian goal machine came off the bench to give Pep Guardiola’s men a last-gasp winner against Fulham.

Pep’s men dominated the first half with their possession while Fulham could only make use of the rare opportunities for goals which went futile.

10 minutes from the kickoff, City’s playmaker, Kevin De Bruyne forced through Fulham’s defence but Bernd Leno denied the Belgian’s goal with the top of his left hand.

Minutes later, the Citizens halted Fulham’s short possessions as Gundogan set Julian Alvarez up with a heavy pass and the Argentine forward fired in the lead for Guardiola’s men.

Former Manchester United player, Andreas Pereira pulled one back from the spot after Harry Wilson was brought down by Joao Cancelo.

Moments later, Haaland‘s header from De Bruyne’s pass was ruled out for offside, but the magnificent forward would not just stop terrorizing his opponents.

In stoppage time, Haaland fired his team into the lead with a bottom-corner finish from the penalty spot after De Bruyne was fouled inside the area by Antonee Robinson.

Arsenal, who play Chelsea at Stamford Bridge on Sunday afternoon, may overtake Guardiola’s side, but it wouldn’t be a surprise if City maintained the lead at the top of the Premier League standings with a point.
