NFF: Gusau Hints Nigerians On His Next Step

The New President of the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF), Alhaji Ibrahim Gusau has said that he will start his administration by settling differences with the parties who have been wronged.

Naija News earlier reported the victory of the former two-time Chairman of Chairmen in the last Executive Committee as representative of the North West, with an excellent result of 39 votes as against one of Peterside Idah in an ensuing rerun in Benin city.

Prior to the demand of a rerun, Gusau came first with 21 votes, the first vice president of the NFF, Seyi Akinwunmi followed with 12 votes, and Shehu Dikko with 6 votes.

The new NFF boss has stated that he is aware of the division among the stakeholders and is prepared for talks with those who will genuinely support his administration in the coming years.

Super Falcons Arrive Kobe

Meanwhile, Naija News earlier reported that the Super Falcons of Nigeria have arrived at Kobe senior women international friendly match against Japan, which is to be held on Thursday.

The girls who left Nigeria on Friday will trade tackles with the former world champions in an exhibition game at the Noevir Stadium.

The Super Falcons and the Nadeshiko girls have only faced off once in a competitive match, and that was during the 2004 Olympic women’s football competition.
