The PUNCH: There are strong indications that the All Progressives Congress presidential candidate, Bola Tinubu, is intensifying efforts to get the support of the Rivers State Governor Nyesom Wike for the 2023 presidential poll.


The Guardian: As the crises in the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) linger, some governors loyal to the Rivers State Governor, Nyesom Wike, have moved to Paris, France, for further deliberations and strategies.


Vangaurd: The crisis rocking the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, yesterday, took a new dimension as the presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress, APC, Bola Tinubu, met with Governor Nyesom Wike of Rivers State and some PDP governors in London, on Monday night.


This Day: The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), yesterday, lent support to the bill seeking the establishment of an electoral offences commission to prosecute election offenders, saying the electoral process cannot be complete without such a commission.


The Nation: Nigeria and the United States of America (USA) on Tuesday signed an agreement for the repatriation of $23,439,724 recovered funds said to have been looted by late General Sani Abacha. At the agreement signing ceremony held at the Federal Ministry of Justice (FMOJ), the Attorney General of the Federation (AGF) and Minister of Justice, Abubakar Malami signed for Nigeria while the US Ambassador to Nigeria, Mary Beth Leonard signed for her country.


Daily Trust: The London meeting of the Presidential Candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu and the Rivers State governor, Nyesom Wike has unsettled the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and its Presidential Candidate, Atiku Abubakar.
