Don't Take Action Against Bandits Without Military’s Involvement - DHQ

Yoruba Nation agitator, Sunday Igboho, has slammed President Muhammadu Buhari for saying millions of Nigerians were killed during the Biafra civil war to ensure the country’s unity.

Naija News reports that Buhari had urged leaders focus on promoting the interest of the country at all times.

According to the Nigerian leader, the country cannot afford another civil war like the Biafra war.

Reacting in a statement by his spokesperson, Olayomi Koiki, Sunday Igboho stated that such massacre would never be allowed to happen again in Nigeria.

He said: “We know President Muhammadu Buhari is the Patron of all the Fulani worldwide. But Yoruba land can never be conquered by Fulani.

“President Muhammadu Buhari was reminding Nnamdi Kanu and the Igbos of the massacre they carried out during the Biafra War. The President should know that this can never be repeated again in any of our land.

“We have all woken up to Fulani Agenda.”

The President of Nigeria, Muhammadu Buhari had declared that the country is better as a united entity and would not break up.

This is as he warned politicians in the country against actions that may encourage another civil war, submitting that Nigeria can’t afford another civil war.

The declaration comes amidst agitations by some sections of the country who want Nigeria to break up and create independent Biafra and Oduduwa Republics.

He advised that instead of promoting division, the political class should promote unity through patriotic acts.

Naija News reports President Buhari stated this on Tuesday when he played host to former state chairmen of the defunct Congress for Progressive Change (CPC) at the Presidential Villa, Abuja.

According to a statement by his Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Mr Femi Adesina, President Buhari said no country is perfect but as human beings that make up a nation, Nigerians should continue to promote national interests.
