Buhari Meets Families Of Abuja-Kaduna Train Attack Victims

President Muhammadu Buhari is currently meeting with the families of the victims of the March 28 Abuja-Kaduna train attack.

Naija News reports that the meeting is taking in the Council Chambers of the Presidential Villa, Abuja.

The Presidency made this known in a tweet via its verified Twitter handle on Thursday evening.

The tweet wrote, “President #MBuhari is meeting with representatives of victims of the Abuja-Kaduna Train abduction.”

Naija News reports that the terrorists have been releasing the victims in batches and the latest release occurred on Wednesday.

The terrorists released seven more hostages, including a family of six and a woman.

The identities of the family of six are the father, Abubakar Garba; his wife, Maryam; and their 10-year-old son, Ibrahim; seven-year-old daughter, Fatima; five-year-old son, Imran; and one-and-a-half-year-old, Zainab.

Garba, who is a staff member of the National Assembly Service Commission, is the son of a former Military Administrator in Kano and Benue States.

Also, the terrorists also released a 60-year-old woman, Aisha Hassan, due to life-threatening health challenges that deteriorated recently.
