2023: Peter Obi Not A Saint, But Bundle Of Integrity

Former President, Olusegun Obasanjo on Thursday evening described the presidential aspirant of the Labour Party, Peter Obi as a man of integrity.

The elder statesman, however, stated that the former Governor of Anambra State is not a saint, ahead of his 2023 presidential ambition.

Obasanjo stated his stand on Obi who is speedily gaining support from Nigerians in a post On his Twitter account.

The former president in the post wrote, “He is not a saint but among politicians in Nigeria today, Peter Obi is a bundle of integrity.”

Obi would contest against the likes of Atiku Abubakar, presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, Bola Tinubu of the All Progressives Congress, Musa Kwakwanso of the New Nigeria Peoples Party and several others.

In other news, the apex Igbo Socio-Cultural Organization, Ohanaeze Ndigbo has called on Obi to forgive the Spiritual Director of Adoration Ministry, Enugu, Fr. Ejike Mbaka for tagging him a ‘stingy man’.

The group commended the Enugu Diocese of Catholic Church, led by Bishop Onaga for distancing itself from the statement of Mbaka against Obi.

According to Ohanaeze, Mbaka was paid by a South-East Governor to sow seeds of discord in attempting to halt his presidential ambition.
