#APCPresidentialPrimaries: Yahaya Bello Experiencing Severe Depression – Omokri

Former presidential aide, Reno Omokri has alleged that Kogi State Governor, Yahaya Bello is seriously experiencing depression.

Omokri in a statement via his Twitter account also called on the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) to put Governor Bello on a suicide watch.

The Kogi State Governor is one of the presidential aspirants that paid N100 million naira for the APC forms but things have not gone his way in the primary election.

Omokri mocked the Governor, saying he might be highly depressed because of the way things have turned out so far and the heavy financial investment he has made.

He wrote: “The APC should put Yahaya Bello on suicide watch. This may sound like a joke, but I’m deadly serious.

“The man is experiencing severe depression right now. All the cash he spent down the drain. Meanwhile, Kogi workers and pensioners are waiting for him!”

The Kogi State Governor had earlier before the primaries began, refused to follow the reasoning of his other colleagues who supported that power should return to the south in 2023.

He even stormed out of a meeting where he was reportedly encouraged to step down from the race, submitting that only President Muhammadu Buhari can ask him to step down.
