Buhari Sends Message To Kumuyi, Commends Him For A Job Well Done

President Muhammadu Buhari on Sunday felicitated the General Overseer of the Deeper Life Bible Church, Pastor W. F Kumuyi on his upcoming birthday.

Kumuyi will be turning 81 on June 6 2022.

Buhari wished the clergyman more years on earth in a statement by Femi Adesina, the Special Assistant to the President on Media and Publicity,

He praised him for his contribution to soul winning, preaching of the gospel, and counselling which has transformed lives and left a positive mark on the growth of the nation.

The president noted that the Deeper Christian Life Ministry which had grown from a Bible study group has led to the spiritual and moral development of the country, with testimonies in education, health, roads, water supply and provision of scholarships to the less privileged.

Meanwhile, Nigerians have slammed the Presidency for denying media reports that President Muhammadu Buhari supported the rotation of power to the South in the 2023 general elections.

Naija News earlier reported that the Presidency refuted reports that the President had directed the zoning of the presidential ticket of the ruling All Progressives Congress to the South.

This was after several reports emerged on Saturday night that the President had supported the rotation of power to the Southern region of the country. Read more
