The jury in the trial between actors Johnny Depp and Amber Heard, who accuse each other of defamation, reached a verdict on Wednesday, June 1, the court said. The seven jurors deliberated nearly 1 p.m. since Friday to agree on a unanimous decision which will be rendered at 3 p.m. local time (9 p.m. in France) at the court in Fairfax, near Washington.

  • The verdict in Johnny Depp’s defamation lawsuit against Amber Heard is due at 9 p.m. Wednesday.
  • The actor claims $ 50 million from his ex-wife, who wrote in an editorial that she was “a public figure representing domestic violence”.
  • Amber Heard has counterattacked and is asking for $100 million because a lawyer for Johnny Depp has called her accusations a “hoax”.
