EFCC Reveals Why It Invaded Abuja Residence Of Rochas Okorocha

A video has emerged online showing operatives of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) in the residence of the former Governor of Imo State Rochas Okorocha.

Naija News had earlier reported that operatives of the anti-graft agency stormed his residence located at No 3, Nyasa Close, Off Ontario Street.

Personnel of the Nigeria Police Force are also present as EFCC tries to arrest the lawmaker representing Imo West Senatorial District and presidential aspirants under the All Progressives Congress (APC).

There are claims that the former Governor has been snubbing several invitations extended to him by the commission over alleged corruption charges.

Operatives of the anti-graft agency at the time of filing this report have barricaded the residence of the presidential aspirant.

According to them, none of the members of Okorocha’s family would be allowed to leave the compound until they produce the former governor.

The operatives in their effort to arrest Okorocha screened everyone going out and coming into the premises.

EFCC also warned the police operatives attached to Okorocha’s residence to withdraw from the premises.
