'We Are Devastated' - Osinbajo Reacts To Death Of Pastor Taiwo Odukoya

Vice President Yemi Osinbajo has visited stakeholders in Ogun State to discuss his 2023 presidential ambition.

The Vice President stormed Sagamu where he met with the Akarigbo and paramount ruler of Remo, Oba Babatunde Ajayi, amidst other Obas in Remoland.

After the meeting ended, he moved to the palace of the Alake and paramount ruler of Egbaland, Oba Adedotun Aremu Gbadebo, in Abeokuta.

While in Ogun, Osinbajo will also be meeting with Governor Dapo Abiodun and other stalwarts of the All Progressives Congress (APC) over his plans to succeed President Muhammadu Buhari.

His visit will come to a close at the palace of the Olu of Ilaro and Paramount Ruler of Yewa, Oba Kehinde Olugbenlo, after which he will leave Ogun for Lagos.

Meanwhile, a former Minister of Steel, Paul Unongo, has expressed regret over supporting President Muhammadu Buhari in 2015.

Unongo, who is the former chairman of the Northern Elders Forum, NEF, stated that he is quite disappointed with the president’s performance in office, adding that he will be judged by history when he leaves office on 2023.

He explained how he risked his live to support Buhari’s presidential ambition in 2015.

While speaking with journalists on Sunday, in Jos, Unongo said: “Some of us that went for Buhari risked our lives. Many of us are disappointed, and I am too old not to speak the truth. We are disappointed with the performance we have seen by the government led by Buhari“. Read more
