Pastor Arrested Over Alleged Kidnapping In Delta

Two female inmates at a women’s prison in New Jersey are confirmed pregnant after having consensual intercourse  with their transgendered inmates behind bars.

According to a report by NJ.com, the unidentified jailbirds became pregnant barely a year after New Jersey enacted a policy to allow prisoners to be housed in accordance with their preferred gender identity.

The policy requires state prisons to provide more protections for transgender, intersex, and nonbinary people.

Although, it is unclear if the women were sleeping with the same transwoman, but the correctional officers at the facility have launched an investigation to know how long the two inmates have been involved with their trans inmates.

Speaking about the policy that allows trans-women share same correctional facility with women, the union representing corrections officers who work at the facility said the new policy made things more dangerous.

The union also went ahead to issued a statement decrying the policy allowing transgender females to be incarcerated at Edna Mahan.

It read; “We opposed this policy change believing it would be detrimental to the general population of female inmates being housed at Edna Mahan and also bring added stress to our correctional police officers assigned to this institution”
