The chief Imam who was sacked in Apo Legislative Quarters Central Mosque in Abuja, Sheikh Nuhu Khalid said his criticism of the government’s inefficiency did is not new.

According to the cleric, when he criticized Goodluck Jonathan’s administration the sky did not fall.

Meanwhile, the Chief Imam was relieved of his duties after he criticised Muhammadu Buhari’s administration.

Khalid had said, “Nigerian masses should resort to only one term which protects lives, we will come out to vote; let us be killed, we will not come out to vote, since it’s only elections that you people know.”

Khalid after he was sacked by the steering committee of the mosque had stated that he was not given a fair hearing.

The Imam while speaking on a Trust Tv programme on Wednesday said he does not regret speaking against the Buhari Government.

Khalid a few hours after his sack was given a fresh appointment by the Management Committee of a new Jum’mat Mosque behind the Central Bank Nigeria, CBN Quarters, Abuja.

The cleric while speaking on his new appointment said he would start leading his new congregation starting on Friday, April 8.
