Gospel Artiste, Chinedu Nwadike Is Dead

Popular Nigerian gospel singer, Chinedu Nwadike is dead.

Chinedu lost his life after battling with blood cancer.

The 39-year-old reportedly died in Abuja on Sunday afternoon.

He had recovered from kidney disease and was to be transferred to India to treat his blood cancer.

Nwadike had pleaded with prominent Nigerians for financial aid before he died.

Nwadike was a popular Igbo gospel musician known for his many songs, including his “Oku Gbajie Aka Ji Ngozim” medley.

He has been married to his wife, Sorochi Dora Nwadike for nearly 10 years. They wedded in August 2012 and share two children together. The couple initially had three kids but their last born died in 2020.

In other news, a corps member, Musa Momoh Tunde has slumped and died at the Orientation Camp in Dakingari, Kebbi State, while watching a football match.

Tunde, who was a Public Administration graduate of the Federal Polytechnic Bida, died on Friday evening, March 26, while watching one of the inter-platoon football matches.

The Director-General of the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC), Major-General Shuaibu Ibrahim sent his condolences to the family deceased.

He stated further that the deceased was a young patriotic Nigerian who died while in active service to the nation. Read more
