Oba Of Benin Pays Congratulatory Visit To Obasanjo Ahead Of 85th Birthday

The Oba of Benin, Ewuare II has paid a congratulatory visit to Chief Olusegun Obasanjo ahead of his 85th birthday.

The Oba of Benin who is presently in a state visit to Ogun State hosted by the Alake of Egba Land took it upon himself to visit the Former President.

He was accompanied by the Chief Host Oba Adedotun Aremu Gbadebo III – The Alake of Egba Land, Oba Saburee Babajide Isola Bakre, the Agura of Gbagura, the President of Abeokuta Club – Chief Tokunbo Odebunmi and the UK High Commissioner, Ambassador Sarafa Tunji Isola.

Obasanjo will be turning 85 on the 5th of March.

In related news, the Governor of Bauchi State, Bala Mohammed on Wednesday visited former Nigeria President, Olusegun Obasanjo at his residence in Abeokuta, Ogun State.

Mohammed has intention to contest in the presidential election in 2023 under the platform of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).

Governor Mohammed arrived Obasanjo’s penthouse residence located within the Olusegun Obasanjo Presidential Library in Abeokuta alongside his aides around 11:30am. Read more
