Nigerians React As Femi Adesina Pray For Another Leader Like Buhari In 2023
The Special Adviser to the President on Media and Publicity, Femi Adesina, on Thursday prayed that Nigerians will elect a politician like Muhammadu Buhari in 2023.
The media aide stated this in a post on his Facebook account while describing the President as an exemplary leader.
Adesina in his statement said, “As 2023 approaches, I pray that Nigerians would consolidate on honest leadership by electing somebody who can move us forward in probity and accountability.
“Buhari has shown us the way; may we never veer off the path again. Honest service to the people must be the watchword. That is what President Buhari has in mind, and that is what we should get. Order is better than speed, and we will get there.”
The statement calling on the next leader to follow the path laid down by President Buhari did not go down well with some Nigerians who have been lamenting over an increase in food price, insecurity and other challenges rocking the nation.
Some in their reaction described the National Leader of the All Progressives Congress, Bola Tinubu, as a similar leader to Buhari.
While some took the opportunity to ask the presidential aide to list the achievements of the President.
