Nigerian singer Aituaje Iruobe, professionally known as Waje, has asked married men quite an interesting question.

The singer took to her Twitter account to ask men if they would be comfortable with another man paying for what their wives bought.

She wrote: “Husbands I’m asking for a friend. If your wife goes grocery shopping and as she gets to the counter to sort the bill, a fine fellow offers to pay her bill. should she politely decline or allow this stranger help with the bill.”

Waje came into the limelight when she first featured in the remake of P-Square’s “Omoge Mi”. She also featured in their hit track in 2008 “Do me.”

Waje played a supportive vocal role to Banky W’s ‘Thief my kele’ and MI’s ‘One Naira’. In 2016, she was also a judge in the inaugural season of The Voice in Nigeria.

Meanwhile, former presidential aide, Reno Omokri has said seeking your wife permission before making a decision is not a sign of weakness.

Naija News reports that Reno shared his thoughts on his Instagram page.

He maintained that seeking for your wife’s permission is a smart move, as two heads are better than one.

He stressed that a woman might be intuitive and see what the husband has failed to see. Read more
