Waje, Yemi Alade React As Tems Bags Golden Globe Nomination




Nigerian singers, Waje and Yemi Alade have hailed their colleague, Tems after she was revealed as one of the nominees of the Golden Globe Awards.

Tems was nominated for her songwriting efforts in the song “Lift Me Up”, a lead single for the “Black Panther: Wakanda Forever” soundtrack.

The Nigerian music star was nominated under the Best Original Song Category alongside Rihanna, Ryan Coogler, and Ludwig Goransson.

The news was also disclosed by Marvel studio’s Twitter page where they complimented the artistes on their efforts.

“Congratulations to Tems, Rihanna, Ryan Coogler, and Ludwig Göransson for their Golden Globe Nomination for Best Original Song! #WakandaForever  #GoldenGlobes,“ it wrote.

The “Free mind” singer had also retweeted the post where she wrote; “My God!! this one is too much❤️”

Congratulating the singer, Waje via her Instagram reposted Tems post with the caption: ‘This is a big deal!!!!! Big congratulations @temsbaby.’

Yemi Alade described the singer as a World Wide Baby, saying, ”Big Tems @temsbaby is a WORLD WIDE BABY!!! Congratulations to you and your entire team”.

The Golden Globe Awards is an international film and television award, which began in 1944. These awards are bestowed by the Hollywood Foreign Press Association, to acknowledge greatness in both American and international movies.
