Nigerians Are Extremely Difficult To Lead - Buhari

The president of the federal republic of Nigeria, Muhammadu Buhari has stated that the efforts of the federal government towards the challenges in Nigeria can only be successful due to divine intervention.

The president stated this on Saturday at the Sani Abacha Stadium, Kano, where the National Prayer for Peace and Security was held.

Buhari, who was represented by the minister of State for Agriculture, Mustapha Baba Shehuri said that the issue of Insecurity and other challenges the country was currently facing needed divine intervention for the efforts of the federal government to be successful.

Abdullahi Ganduje, the governor of Kano also maintained that the reason there was no ethnic and religious crisis in the state could be attributed to prayers and synergy amongst security operatives.

Ganduje thanked the president for his efforts to end insecurity in the nation while also maintaining that only God can guarantee peace and security.

The president applauded the efforts of the governor to organise national prayers to ensure that there was peace in the nation.

The prayer sessions were led by the leader of the Tijjaniyya sect from Algeria, Maulana Sheikh Ali Bil-Arabi, a grandson of the late founder of the sect, Sheikh Ahmad Tijjani.
