How Much Is Dollar To Naira Exchange Rate Today Official Rate?

The official rate today, Thursday October 28, for $1 dollar to naira = ₦414.13/$1.

According to the data at the FMDQ Security Exchange where forex is traded officially, exchange rate between the naira and the US dollar opened at ₦414.13/$1 on Thursday 28, after it closed at ₦415.07 to a $1 on Wednesday, 27 October 2021.

How much is exchange rate of Dollar to Naira in Black Market today?

The exchange rate for a dollar to naira at Lagos Parallel Market (Black Market) for today, Thursday, October 28 – it is being bought at N565.00 to a $1 and sold at N570, according to sources at Bureau De Change (BDC).

Please note that the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) does not recognise the parallel market (black market), as it has directed individuals who want to engage in Forex to approach their respective banks.

Trading at the official NAFEX window

The exchange rate between the naira and the US dollar opened at ₦414.13/$1 on 28th October 2021 and after closing on Wednesday 27th at ₦415.07/$1. Showing a change of -0.07%.

According to data from FMDQ, forex turnover for Thursday, 28 October 2021 declined to $147.44million.

Meanwhile, Guaranty Trust Holding Company Plc has reported a profit before tax of N151.91bn for the third quarter of 2021.

Naija News reports that this is down 9.23 per cent from N167.35bn in the same period of last year.

The holding company for Guaranty Trust Bank Limited said its revenue dropped by 3.46 per cent to N214.77bn in Q3 2021 from N222.47bn in the same period a year earlier.

According to its unaudited financial statements for Q3 2021 filed with the Nigerian Exchange Limited on Tuesday, its earnings per share also dropped to N4.54 from N5.02.

GTCO, however, grew its assets from N4.94tn to N5.14tn.

Its cash and cash equivalents rose to N757.75bn from N592.66bn.
