Kaduna Primary School Pupils Escape From Bandits
Three pupils abducted by bandits at the UBE primary school at Rama in Birnin Gwari Local Government Area of Kaduna State have escaped.
One of the teachers of school while speaking with DailyTrust, noted that the three pupils had earlier been abducted but escaped when the bandits attempted to rustle some cows and motorcycles at a nearby community.
You Are Alone – Biafra Group Fires Asari Dokubo
The Biafra Nations Leagues on Monday distanced itself from Biafran De Facto Customary Government declared by former Niger Delta militant leader, Asari Dokubo.
The group fired Dokubo in a statement released through its National Leader, Princewill C Richard, Deputy National Leader, Ebuta Akor Takon, Chief of Staff Linus Essien and it’s Operational Commander known as “Asorock Commander” in Bakassi Peninsula.
Police Transfer Suspected Fulani Warlord, Wakili, Two Others To CID
Fulani warlord, Isikilu Wakili, has been transferred by the Oyo State Police Command to the state Criminal Investigation Department, Iyaganku, Ibadan for discreet investigation.
The spokesperson of the command, Olugbenga Fadeyi, in a statement released on Monday denied the command detained people who reported any case against the Fulani herdsmen at the police station in the Ibarapa axis.
Wike Urged To Join 2023 Presidential Race
The Governor of Rivers State, Nyesom Wike has been charged by the lawmaker representing Kabba-Bunu/Ijumu Federal Constituency, Tajudeen Yusuf, to contest in the 2023 presidential election.
Yusuf in his called noted that the Peoples Democratic Party Governor would be a good candidate for the party in the forthcoming general elections.
CAMA: CAN Drags Buhari’s Federal Govt To Court
The Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN) has dragged the federal government of Nigeria to court over the controversial Companies and Allied Matters Act 2020 popularly called CAMA.
The Christian umbrella body had previously expressed reservations about some provisions of the law signed by President Muhammadu Buhari on August 7, 2020.
