Former Rep, Nguroje Loses Seven Family Members In Auto Crash

President Muhammadu Buhari on Sunday expressed sadness over the death of seven family members of former Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives, Babangida Nguroje.

It was reported that Nguroje lost two of his sisters, Zainab and Hajiya Hadiza with her husband and their four kids, to a road accident.

Buhari forwarded a condolence statement to the federal lawmaker through his Senior Special Assistant on Media and Publicity, Garba Shehu, titled “President Buhari condoles with Hon. Nguroje, over death of sisters, others.”

Shehu quoted the President as saying, “I am lost for words to describe such multiple deaths in a single-car accident in which family members perished.”

“I received the news of this tragedy with deep shock and grief, and wish to express my heartfelt sympathy and solidarity with you at this trying and painful moment.”

The presidential aide further quoted Buhari as praying to God to comfort those deceased left behind.
