Buhari Raises Alarm, Says Weapons From Russia-Ukraine War Now Slipping To Africa

Nigeria President, Muhammadu Buhari, will on Thursday address a joint session of the National Assembly.

The development was disclosed by the president’s Assistant on Social Media, Lauretta Onochie, on her Twitter account.

According to Onochie: “FireFLASHFire, FireFLASHFire President @MBuhari will address a joint session of the National Assembly (@nassnigeria) on Thursday 10th December 2020.”

The House of Representatives had last week summoned the President to appear before the house due to insecurity in the country.

The spokesperson of the house, Ben Kalu, revealed this while speaking with newsmen at the National Assembly.

Kalu further stated that the President will not be harassed during his visit.

This is coming after rice farmers were slaughtered by Boko Haram Terrorist group on Saturday in Zabarmari, less than 20 km from Maiduguri, the Borno State capital.
