Breaking: Diego Maradona Is Dead

Football legend, Diego Maradona is dead after he suffered a cardiorespiratory arrest (heart attack) on Wednesday.

The legendary Argentine footballer died on Wednesday morning local time in the town of Tigre at the age of 60 according to reports from local newspapers.

The footballer recently had surgery to remove a blood clot from his brain, following a fall, Naija News recalls.

During his playing days, Maradona was part of the Argentine team that won the World Cup in 1986. He also played for Boca Juniors, Napoli, and Barcelona among others during an illustrious career that spanned many years.
