LIVE: Army Appears Before Panel Over Lekki Shooting As Trump Clings To US Presidency

The Nigerian Army has given its testimony on the shooting of EndSARS Protesters at the Lekki toll gate on the night of October 20, 2020 while appearing before the Lagos State judicial panel investigating the shooting.

While testifying that Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu was right for requesting the military presence at the toll gate, Brig. Gen. Ahmed Taiwo said soldiers only fired blank bullets at protesters.

Meanwhile, United States President Donald Trump is still yet to concede defeat to President-elect Joe Biden.

It’s been over a week since he lost his re-election bid but Trump still insists that the election was marred by voting fraud in some states.
