Presidency Reacts To Story Of Buhari, Osinbajo ‘Disagreement’ On NDPHC Boss Appointment
Mr. Laolu Akande, spokesperson to Vice President Yemi Osinbajo has reacted to the story of a disagreement between his principal and President Muhammadu Buhari over the appointment of Chiedu Ugbo as the managing director of the Niger Delta Power Holding Company (NDPHC).
Some earlier reports had it that Buhari and Osinbajo were not on the same page as regards the tenure renewal for Ugbo as the NDPHC boss.

A former Deputy National Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Nigeria’s main opposition political party, Bode George, has warned President Muhammadu Buhari‘s administration against the hike in electricity tariff and pump price of petrol.
Naija News reports that George spoke on Tuesday when PDP aspirants for the Lagos East Senatorial district and Kosofe 2 State Constituency paid him a courtesy call during which he stated that Nigerians were yet to recover from the effect of COVID-19, hence the new tariff and price should be reversed.
