Victory @ Last As Adeshina Is Elected AFDB President For The Second Time

The Africa Development Bank, AfDB, has once again re-elected Dr. Akinwunmi Adesina as it’s President for another term.

Adesina, a former Minister of Agriculture was elected on Thursday during extraordinary meeting of bank holding in Cote d’ivoire.

He emerged unopposed despite United States opposition to his reelection.

Adesina was first elected as AfDB President in 2015.
