Boko Haram Terrorists Kill Many In Fresh Borno Community Attack, Hoist Flag

Many civilians who returned to Kukawa town in Kukawa Local Government Area of Borno State last week have been killed by Boko Haram terrorists in a fresh attack on the community.

According to military sources, the Boko Haram insurgents also hoisted their flag in Kukawa town.

The Nigeria Army had some weeks ago claimed that it had begun clearance operations within Baga and Kukawa in Northern Borno which would enable the return of residents to their communities.

Speaking to SaharaReporters, a resident stated that the terrorists killed many people and left others with serious bullet injuries.

He said: “The terrorists have again taken over Kukuwa, even with a statement by the army to our people that the town was safe some weeks ago. Why will the army have no plans to protect civilians In Kukawa and let them return home?”
