Corruption: We Are Ready To Go After Anyone Involved – Buhari
President Muhammadu Buhari on Thursday promised to go after anyone involved in corruption.
Buhari who restated his commitment to the corruption fight in Nigeria stated that the battle is without fear and would be taken to anyone.
The President stated this on Thursday at the graduation of the National Defence College (NDC) Course 28 on Thursday in Abuja.
He was represented at the graduation by the Minister of Defence, Maj.-Gen Bashir Magashi (rtd.).
Buhari stated that the path chosen was in the interest of Nigeria.
“On corruption, we are more determined than ever before to stay on the path we have chosen in the interest of our dear nation to fight corruption without fear no matter who is involved.”
The president, however, stated that there is still more work to be done in terms of the economic impact on the citizens.
He cited employment generation, poverty eradication and the general conditions of living.
Rear Admiral, Markson Kadiri, NDC Commandant, disclosed that the college has trained 2,340 participants in the last 28 years.
Kadiri said 107 graduates including 18 foreigners were trained for Course 28.
