AFDB: Buhari Congratulates Adeshina As Panel Clears Him Of All Allegations

President Muhammadu Buhari has congratulated the President of the African Development Bank, Dr Akinwumi Adesina, on his successful clearance by an independent panel.

Naija News reported that the president of the Africa Development Bank, Dr. Akinwumi Adesina has been cleared by the independent review panel of all whistleblower charges brought against him.

The panel, headed by a former Irish President, Mary Robinson has now given Adesina a clean bill of health.

With this development, the coast is now clear for the Nigerian administrator to seek a second term in office as the AfDB president.

However,In a statement by the Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Femi Adesina, the President rejoiced with Adesina on “further validation of his competence and integrity to lead AfDB.”
