JAMB Releases Important Update For 2020 UTME And DE Candidates

The Joint Admissions and Matriculations Board, JAMB has on Monday, July 20 released an important update for the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) candidates and the Directry Entry candidates as well.

The exam body which is responsible for conducting entrance Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination for prospective undergraduates into Nigerian universities, on its official Twitter account a few moments ago noted that candidates can use their UTME registered mobile numbers to book an appointment with JAMB offices to convert their UTME to DE.

The update was given after one Owoeye Oluwasegun (@bigseg2010) on the microblogging site asked if he could visit any of the JAMB Computer Base Test centres to do a change of institution, Naija News understands.

Oluwasegun asked; “@JAMBHQ Also want to ask if I can go for a change of institution now at any cbt centre,”

Responding to the question, the exam body tweeted; “You can book an appointment with the phone number you used during UTME registration before you visit any of the JAMB offices to convert your UTME to DE.”

Meanwhile, Naija News reported earlier that the Joint Admissions Matriculation Board (JAMB) has announced that the admission process for the 2020 United Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) will commence from August 21, 2020.
