PDP Adopted Obaseki Because Of Its Interest In Edo State Treasury – Ganduje
Governor Ganduje has accused the Peoples Democratic Party of adopting Obaseki because he controls the Edo State treasury.
Governor Abdullahi Ganduje of Kano State and the Chairman of the All All Progressive Congress National Campaign Council, has accused the Peoples Democratic Party of adopting the Edo State Governor, Godwin Obaseki as it governorship candidate in the September 19 governorship election because he is in control of the state treasury.
The Kano State governor stated this while speaking with newsmen after the campaign council was inaugurated at the APC National Secretariat, Abuja, on Monday.
Naija News had earlier reported that Governor Mai Mala Buni, the Chairman of the Caretaker/Extra-Ordinary National Convention Planning Committee of the All Progressives Congress arrived at the party National Secretariat for the inauguration of the Edo State National Governorship Campaign Council.
Others present at the APC National Secretariat were Governor Abdullahi Ganduje of Kano State, the Kogi State Governor, Yahaya Bello, Governor Hope Uzodinma of Imo State and Senator Andy Uba among others.
Ganduje in his statement noted that the APC is not moved about the Governor Nyesom Wike-led PDP National Campaign Council because APC has the candidate which has all it takes to win in the forthcoming election in the state.
The governorship candidate of APC, Pastor Osagie Ize-Iyamu, would be contesting against the state Governor, Godwin Obaseki of the Peoples Democratic Party and other candidates during the September 19 governorship election in Edo State.
