NCDC Confirms 241 New Cases of COVID-19 in Nigeria

The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control, NCDC has confirmed two hundred and forty-one new cases of Coronavirus pandemic in Nigeria.

The agency confirmed the new cases on Tuesday night, at about 11:47 pm on its official microblogging site account.

This brings the overall confirmed cases of the novel virus in Nigeria to 10819.

Meanwhile, the Director-General of the NCDC, Dr Chikwe Ihekweazu has noted that 812 health workers of the agency have contracted COVID-19.

Ihekweazu said this while he was speaking at the media briefing of the presidential task force on COVID-19 on Tuesday.
