Transfer Gist: Leicester Keen On Signing Philippe Coutinho

Leicester City Football Club has approved the transfer Barcelona top striker, Philippe Coutinho.

Naija News learnt the head coach of the English club Brendan Rodgers who confirmed this said that the foxes management gave a green light to sign Coutinho.

It will be recalled that Barcelona wanted to offload the Brazilian player this summer after his loan expires with Bayern Munich.

Coutinho has been linked with a number of English clubs, including the Foxes, Chelsea, Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur.

The Northern Irishman brought Coutinho to Liverpool from Inter Milan seven years ago. The Brazil international later moved to the Nou Camp for a whopping £142 million in January 2018
